There are 3 parts to passing your driving test.
Theory
Hazard Perception
Practical
Theory
This is a multiple choice question test which requires you to answer 50 questions in 57 minutes. You will need to answer
at lease 43 questions correctly in order to pass this part.
Hazard perception
This part is a sequence of 14 clips which shows developing hazards. You will use the mouse to click on the screen when
you see the hazards. You will take this part on the same day as you answer you multiple choice questions. This test is marked
out of 75, you must achieve at lease 44 to pass this part.
You must pass both multiple choice and hazard perception tests in order to receive your theory certificate.
Practical test
Your driving test will last approximately 40 minutes. During that 40 minutes you will be expected to drive well and carry
out a couple of manoeuvres and maybe an emergency stop. Accompanied by a driving examiner, you will demonstrate what you have
learned and what driving skills you have gained. The test also involves 2 questions on general maintenance of you vehicle.
